Problem
The existence of wide gaps between clinical knowledge and practice is well known and acknowledged. In the emerging value-driven healthcare system, it will become increasingly imperative to narrow that gap and provide a relevant intersection among knowledge creation, related research activity, and practice decision-making" (Mazurek & Fineout-Overholt, 2015, p. 257). How can those gaps be reduced between clinical knowledge and practice?
