How did that work out and was anything learned from this

Journal Problem

One of the themes of "Richard Cory" by Robinson is the old saying "the grass is always greener on the other side." The townspeople in the poem want what Richard Cory has and they want to be him. They see what all that he is and they wish for his life. Notice though, this doesn't work out in the end because Richard Cory kills himself.

Tell about a time when you or someone you know has experienced, "the grass is always greener" situation, meaning you or that person wished for something that others have or wanted to be like someone else. How did that work out? Was anything learned from this? If so, what? If not, why?

The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
