The purchasing agent at Sam's Electronics Universe has been running the kickback scheme for the last eight months, which has led Sam's Electronics to purchase $2 million in excessive inventory purchased, while the purchasing agent benefited by receiving kickbacks totaling $780,000. Because of the complexity of the issues, our boss has come to us looking for guidance as to what their next move should be and how the company should seek restitution for the lost $2 million.
