Mission statements are important tools to define how an organization frames and distinguishes itself along with the individuality its blueprint and identity. This assignment will challenge you to use the knowledge you have explored up to date via the course, by analyzing your selected hospitality firm.

The objective of this assignment by using critical thinking skills, SWOT analysis, and intelligence to dissect and re-write the mission statement of your firm to better enhance human relations culture with stakeholders.

Step One - Analyze the mission statement of your selected hospitality-based firm (Marriot Hotel).

Step Two - Identify using SWOT analysis the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of your desired tourism & hospitality firm's current mission statement. Be sure to think about and consider current course data/content to date.

Consider how social interactions, supply chain, political, cultural, economic, and government current international events (war in Ukraine, movement of people globally think MENA region or sub-Saharan Africa etc........ ) trends currently in the United States and globally may influence how your selected tourism & hospitality business should or may need to adjust their mission statement to be better positioned and sustainable moving into the future.

Step Three - I want you to re-write the mission statement of your selected business. Your word count should be very similar to the original statement and if needed feel free to add up to seventy five additional words.

Step Four - To submit this assignment I want you to do three things. First copy and paste your selected firm mission state into to assignment link (this is important be sure to highlight this part along with italicizing the text)

Next drop your re-written mission statement into the assignment link.

And finally, write one hundred fifty words or more and share your takeaways via this assignment. Be sure to thread course themes and concepts but quite frankly share what you learned and have taken away (think heretical questions/ing systems thinking, and mapping)
