Is advertising essential to marketing?
Answer the following questions in an MS Word document.
a) Explain how advertising is an essential component of marketing strategy.
b) What types of creative decision-making goes into an advertising campaign?
c) The two advertisements (Volvo and the Scarecrow) in the content folder above took top honors at the 2014 Clio Awards for best advertising campaigns -- and both boosted the sales of their companies. Analyze each ad in terms of what you learned so far. Why do you feel that these ads are effective? Talk about the creativity and content of the ads, think about the target audience and explain why you do or do not like them.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
