Provide a SWOT and Pestle Analysis for the following project.
Minorities account for almost a third of the U.S. population (Mays, Ly, Allen & Young, 2009). An important factor when reaching underserved minorities is considering the patients culture, which is why having a culturally competent workforce plays a vital role in the success of reaching minorities. Research shows that using volunteer undergraduate students in health organizations has significantly reduced health disparities because of the forged relationships between the students and the minorities (Mays, Ly, Allen & Young, 2009). The Volunteerism program offers multiple services to these underserved minorities, reducing health disparities and encouraging the future workforce to apply for jobs in areas where there are underserved minorities (Mays, Ly, Allen & Young, 2009).
