Problem:
Find an example of an informal fallacy. You may not use any logic website as a source, so do not Google "informal fallacies" to find one. Informal fallacies are everywhere so they are easy to find. The easiest ones to find are in advertisements. They are also found in speeches by politicians, media commentary, and letters to editors. Political groups like the NRA, PETA, and others are also prone to use fallacious reasoning. Post the fallacy, identify what the fallacy is, and explain why the passage or ad commits that fallacy.
The fallacy must be on our list (different authors have differing lists of informal fallacies). Comment on another student's post, agreeing or disagreeing with their example for full points.
