i. Explain the purpose of political parties and the two-party system that characterized American Politics for most of the nation's history.
ii. Choose and discuss a U.S. Supreme Court case related to your chosen constitutional right- be sure to explain how/why it is relevant.
iii. Select one political party that is considered a minor or third party (figure 9.4 in chapter 8 provides some examples). Provide an overview of the highlighted party, including its history, mission statement, impact on politics, and any noteworthy candidates or policy positions. (At least 200 words).
