Explain the unique way we handle presidential primaries and presidential general elections covering in detail each step of the primary and general election process and explaining how in each step, voters are not in control of the outcome (or voters are divorced from the process). The presidential general election relies upon a state-by-state electoral vote. Explain how this works and use data to show how the electoral vote skews the representation of small versus large population states. Finally, why will this not likely change?
