Explain equity theory and two-factor theory


My boss thinks that, "money talks and everything else walks." She constantly says that "praising the employee's work, listening to their concerns, and making them feel like they are part of the team which has completed something positive is useless without money." How would you reply to her statements based on concept of Equity Theory? Also, how would you reply to her based on concepts of Two-Factor Theory? Describe why you agree or disagree with the statements.
