• Founders have an important role in developing their organization's culture and values. At times, their influence persists for many years. Identify and describe two organizations in which the cultures and values established by the founder(s) continue to flourish. Can founders have a negative effect in the organization? Explain.
• What is a learning organization, what are its key characteristics, and what can leaders do to foster a firm to become a learning organization?
• Explain emotional intelligence. What are its characteristics? What actions can leaders use to further improve each of the characteristics under this model?
• What leadership power bases have you seen your direct supervisor apply on you? Are the bases used effective to motivate you to complete your tasks? Explain why?
