Length: 4 to 5 pages.
Choose a manager (who supervises multiple employees) with whom you can sit face-to-face for 30 minutes to ask some managerial questions.
Required interview questions:
a) How many employees do you supervise directly? What do they do? (generally, e.g. clerks, technicians, auditors, managers, etc.) What kind of information about them do you keep track of (e.g. their experience, skills, etc.) that is necessary to manage them effectively?
b) Do you manage employees individually or as a whole group?
c) Do you keep track of or measure any workplace attitudes (e.g. job satisfaction, employee engagement, etc.)? Why? How do you measure them?
d) How do you motivate your employees?
e) Can you give me some tips on how to be an effective leader?
f) How do you resolve conflicts in the workplace? Do you need to play politics sometimes?
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
