Problem: The aim of this study was to evaluate how intelligence and personality traits, Extraversion and Conscientiousness interact in predicting AP within an Australian setting (Heaven & Ciarrochi, 2012). Participants were students from UoA, between the ages of 18 to 50 years who completed an online assessment to measure intelligence, along with a supervised paper-and-pencil test for Extraversion and Conscientiousness, as well as an index to evaluate AP. The findings showed a positive correlation between Conscientiousness and AP (Conrad & Patry, 2012), while neither IQ nor Extraversion showed a significant association with AP (Wolf & Ackerman, 2005).
