Nellie Naive, a resident of Everett, WA, bought $25,000 in stock from Evil Stockbrokers, Inc. (Evil). Evil is incorporated in, and its principal place of business is located in, New York. Naive believes that she was cheated by Evil out of the $25,000 and would like to sue Evil for fraud Assuming that only state law applies (i) does Everett Municipal Court have subject matter jurisdiction to hear this case (ii) does the Snohomish County Superior Court have subject matter jurisdiction to hear this case; and (iii) if Naive files a lawsuit in Snohomish County Superior Court can Evil remove the case to the U.
