Assignment Task: An elderly brother who lived by himself in a large house was seriously ill and was not in a position to take care of himself. He asked his sister (who is married in UK) and her husband to migrate to Australia and live with him. He also promised that, if they did migrate and live with him and help him recover, he will transfer his house on their name. The sister and her husband subsequently sold their house and migrate to Australia to live with her brother. After a while, disputes broke out between the brother and sister and the brother asked the sister to leave his house and also refused to transfer the house to them.

Sister and her husband were left in shock at the brother's actions and had to suddenly look for a property to take on lease. They struggled to manage their expenses for a while and their life became hard, so they decided to claim damages for breach of contract from the brother.
