Thesis Statement: I have to comment that the social networks in my opinion have a negative effect in the adolescents because these cause problems of mental health and lower their academic performance.

Arguments:

Argument 1: Mental health

Counterargument:

  • Offer educational resources and learning content.
  • Allow maintain friendships in spite of the distance and create communities of support between young people.

Refutation:

The educational benefits we see that are overshadowed by the distracting content, and the friendships that are reached of virtual form are not going to substitute never the real human interaction. Many studies from the point of view of the psychology confirm us that the negative psychological effects are much more generalized that the positives.
