Problem: Come up with as long of a list as you can of ways that slaves could resist their masters. In addition to overt, major forms of resistance, try to think of smaller things that a slave might be able to do without getting caught and severely punished. You might find it helpful to think of ways that you at times may have resisted the authority figures - parents, teachers, bosses, etc. - in your life. (And when I say resist, I am using that term very broadly.)
