Q: A Spanish bank is now chasing me for unpaid property debts from 2010 and we have a charging order hearing soon to determine whether a full charge will be placed upon my UK property. I dispute this debt due to the value they placed upon my property in Spain back in 2010. I have proof from reputable sources that the value placed on my penthouse was well under market value at that time. This sum makes up the majority of costs and interest they believe I owe them. My question is, will the judge at the charging hearing be open to listening to my side of the story, or as I have an interim charging order in place already, do you expect the judge to side with the bank and expect me to go to court in Spain to fight my argument?
