Question:
In this age of social networking (e.g., Facebook, Google+, Twitter) where people may become friends with people that they never meet in real life (RL), one of the big challenges is getting to know another person. As we'll see in a discussion later in the class, this may be easier on a social networking site where people are able to view others' profile information. One of the great features of the Web is that it gives us some degree of control as to how we present ourselves to others.
Task: Choose an avatar (a picture) for the class that will be visible to others in the forum and explain why you have chosen this avatar. You may use a picture of yourself or any picture that symbolizes something/everything about you. NOTE: I will be the only person reading these explanations.
