Assignment Description: Using one of the scenarios presented, draft a two and half and three pages essay describing how you would use the RACE (Research, Analysis, Communicate, and Evaluation) process to approach the development of a communication plan for a new campaign. It should have an introduction, four paragraphs and a conclusion.

Describe and apply the four-step RACE model (Research, Analysis, Communication, Evaluation) to a public relations campaign. Develop content and plans that are diverse, equitable, inclusive, and are respectful of a diverse range of thoughts, perspectives, experiences and identities (including indigenous communities, race, gender, class, sexuality, religion, ability, etc)

Instructions: 1. Review and reflect on the RACE process ( lectures, textbook readings, personal research). 2. Select ONE of the scenarios below & draft your outline. 3. Write a thesis paragraph: Introduction to the challenge and how you will tackle it using RACE. Explain why the strategic process is vital in public relations planning in general. 4. Draft body paragraphs: This is where you will present your strategic plan to accomplish the task at hand. Each paragraph should correspond with an aspect of RACE (one each for research, analysis, communicate, evaluate) 5. Draft the concluding paragraph .

Your goal is to raise awareness and educate the public on the benefits of choosing eggs . 3. Imagine you are the Public Relations Manager for the Immigration Services Society of British Columbia. In response to the Federal Government's recent announcement regarding welcoming 465,000 new permanent residents in 2023, 485,000 in 2024 and 500,000 in 2025, you have been tasked with putting together a PR campaign encouraging those new Canadians to consider moving to BC. You must develop awareness around the fact that BC is the ultimate province in which to live, work, and play. 4. Imagine you are the Public Relations Manager for the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks have been selected by the NHL to host the 2024 All -Star Weekend. You have been tasked with the public announcement of this event. Your goal is to raise awareness, recruit volunteers and help generate ticket sales.
