Describe the social communication-language deficits

Problem:

I would there paragraphs rewritten into different words that have to be used as a justification for an ABA report. These are the areas and skills the client is lacking and needs to be worked on.

Social Communication/Language Deficits:  To request for wanted items, Ridwan uses a variety of verbal statements. When he is overwhelmed, he often begins blinking rapidly and may cry. He has difficulty modulating his voice volume and frequently speaks in a high-pitched tone. Ridwan tends to resist repeating tasks once he has completed them, such as redoing assignments or reviewing previously learned material. He expresses a dislike for math and appears intimidated by it. Ridwan experiences significant difficulty expressing his emotions and may cry or become upset when others speak to him or when he is unsure how to respond. He is often unable to explain the reason for his distress. When discussing topics of interest, Ridwan can become highly animated, speaking continuously without allowing others to contribute to the conversation. Additionally, he may stutter when he does not know an answer or is uncertain about how to respond.

Behavior Severity: Moderate

Social Skills Deficits: Ridwan is able to recall and retell information, however, he often provides one-word responses or may choose not to answer at all. When discussing topics he enjoys, he can speak about them at length, but he tends to disengage and remain quiet when the subject does not interest him. Ridwan often prefers to direct conversations toward his own interests and expects others to discuss topics of his choosing. He is hesitant to work in groups, expressing concern that peers may reject him, and therefore prefers to work independently. Ridwan does not typically initiate interactions with other children, introduce himself, or attempt to engage socially. He also demonstrates limited understanding of personal space. When excited, he may move very close to others' faces while speaking and raise his voice. Ridwan does not always orient toward the speaker during conversations and has difficulty accepting constructive feedback or maintaining attention during discussions that do not interest him. Additionally, he struggles to discern appropriate boundaries regarding personal information and may not always recognize what details are suitable to share with others.

Behavior Severity: Moderate

Play Skills Deficits: When around his peers, Ridwan tends to engage in isolated play, primarily due to a fear of not being accepted. However, if another child shows interest in playing with him, he is willing to participate, though this typically occurs with younger children rather than peers his own age. Ridwan does not enjoy playing board games with other children but will engage in them with his parents. He also demonstrates significant difficulty coping with losing and often insists on continuing to play until he wins.

Restricted, Repetitive Patterns Of Behaviors, Stereotypy:  Ridwan enjoys having structured routines and prefers to be informed of the day's plan in advance. When changes to his routine occur, he may become bothered and ask numerous questions about why the change is taking place. Loud noises can be distressing for Ridwan. He will often express discomfort by complaining but does not typically exhibit additional behavioral reactions. Ridwan also engages in several stereotypical behaviors, including frequent blinking, rubbing his hands on his legs, pulling at his shirt or pants, and moving his hands repetitively. He has difficulty remaining still for extended periods of time.

Behavior Severity: Mild

Maladaptive Behaviors: Ridwan exhibits crying behavior that can last for approximately 30 minutes and typically occurs when he is seeking attention, attempting to avoid task demands, or requesting a desired item or activity. When given an instruction, Ridwan often responds by asking why he needs to comply rather than following the direction immediately, and he may attempt to delay the task in various ways. He can also make inappropriate or negative statements, such as questioning others' actions, e.g. "Why did you do that?" or saying that his parents do not like or care about him. Ridwan demonstrates difficulty accepting the word "no," waiting for preferred items or activities, and transitioning from preferred to non-preferred tasks. Need Assignment Help?
