Problem
The topic that I want to develop an intervention and evaluation are "Hopelessness Theory of Depression," & "Hopelessness Theory of Suicide".
These are the questions:
A. What research method would you use to collect formal data on the severity and the prevalence of the problem? For instance, would you use questionnaires? Interviews with stakeholders? Observations of behaviors? Why would you choose the method that you did over alternative methods?
B. Describe the method of the formal needs assessment. The method should be described in sufficient detail so that another researcher could replicate your efforts.
C. Describe what the results would look like if they supported the need for an intervention. How would the results show both the severity and the prevalence of the problem? You do not need to include specific numbers here, just an explanation of the pattern of results.
