- Pick two types of epithelium that you learned about,
- Describe the epithelium you picked
- Then describe how the structure (or structures) of the epithelium helps perform its function in the body.
Example: Simple squamous epithelium is made up of one layer of squamous shaped cells. This single layer of squamous cells allows for diffusion of gases within the alveoli of the lungs.
