Would you kill one person, to save many? Is it possible to do the "greatest good" for the most people, without doing harm to anyone? Think about materials discussing utilitarian ethics-- "the greatest good for the greatest number". What are the main ideas of utilitarian ethics? What are the pros and cons of this approach? Describe a situation where utilitarian ethics works well, and also a situation where this approach would not be a good choice.
