CYTOPLASM
Name proposed by Strassburger. According to Muhlethaler and Frey- Wyssling fluid outside nucleus is called cytoplasm.
Two parts of cytoplasm.
(1) Hyaloplasm or ground plasm or cytosol - protein rich liquid matrix of cytoplasm.
(2) Trophoplasm - part of cytoplasm containing organelles and inclusions.
Permanent and living structures of cytoplasm are called organelles.
