My name is Mavictoria Tan. Originally from the Philippines, I have been a first-generation immigrant residing in Southern California for the past 30 years. I have a cheerful demeanor and a strong sense of humor that many of my friends find infectious. This playful outlook on life not only enhances my enjoyment of everyday moments but also helps me tackle challenges with resilience, turning experiences into valuable lessons that contribute to my success.
I hold a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from TUW. Recently, I've developed a growing interest in health sciences and am eager to expand my knowledge in this area by pursuing a Master of Science in Health Sciences.
In my professional life, I work in the registrar's office at a regionally accredited online university, bringing 19 years of experience in managing academic records and supporting both students and faculty. I am a firm believer in the transformative power of education, recognizing that true transformation requires openness to new ideas and a commitment to lifelong learning, whether through formal or informal avenues.
