I'm sure you all have fond recollection of our lecture discussion of George Herbert Mead's observation, that "out of language emerges the field of Mind." Of the theories or theoretical perspectives you learned about in this course, which did the most to enrich or deepen your capacity to understand sociological realities? Differently put, what theory or perspective-its concepts, causal explanations, claims or propositions about socio-historical life contributed most to the enlargement of your own "field of Mind"?
