Block diagram presents a closed-loop control system

Problem: The block diagram presents a closed-loop control system for bus driver operations that now acquires driver health data from an armband sensor node. The armband consolidates heart-rate/PPG (optional single-lead ECG), SpO2, skin temperature, and inertial sensors (accelerometer/gyroscope) and performs on-body signal conditioning before transmitting via BLE/Wi-Fi to the controller/processor (e.g., ESP32/PLC). The controller compares measurements with predefined set points, logs events and GPS, and feeds both the HMI tablet (dashboards, alerts, login, route/fleet messages) and the fleet-management cloud (monitoring, analytics, incident reports). A safety-decision module escalates responses-warnings, alarms, and speed reduction-by commanding actuators (buzzer, warning light, speed limiter, GSM/SMS alerts) that influence bus operation. Feedback from the vehicle and driver updates health and operational data to close the loop. Design change: replacement of multiple vehicle-mounted health sensors with a single wireless armband worn by the driver, enabling continuous on-body monitoring while leaving the downstream decision and actuation chain intact.?(why is ECG optional???)
