Artificial Inspiration:
a. After artificial expiration, the rescue worker should slowly release the pressure on the back of the victim.
b. This will cause the chest cavity to expand and air rushes into the lungs of the victim.These should be repeated for about 16 to 18 times in a minute till the patient begins to breath by himself, while artificial breathing is being given, the rescue worker should take assistance from others and change the wet clothes of the victim. The victim should be covered with warm clothing. As soon as the patient is consicious and able to swallow, hot dirnks like coffee (or) tea should be given to the victim.
