A block attached to a vertical spring oscillates up and down. When the block is in its highest position, which of the following statements is true about its momentum P?

A. P=0, dp/dt points down

B. P points down, dp/dt points down

C. P=0 dp/dt=0

D. P points down, dp/dt=0

E. P=0, dp/dt points up

I doubt that the answer is A.

I know that in its highest position v=0, so momentum should be zero,

but Im not sure which direction dp/dt points.

I know that dp/dt indicates net force, but in this case I think net force is equilibrium due to the fact that it is stationary in its highest points.

Is it because gravitational force points down? I don't get it.
