It involves three groups, namely, hyphae are septate, vegetative body is dikaryophase. It involves the extremely evolved fungi. Fusion takes place among two basidiospores or among two hyphal cells of primary mycelia. Advanced forms of basidiomycetes generate fruiting bodies are termed as basidiocarps. Fruiting bodies differ in size from small microscopic to big ones.
