Expert
Three types of interviews you can use to collect job analysis data:
a. Individual interviews conducted with each employee
b. Those having the same job group interviews can be conducted with groups of employees
c. Supervisor interviews with whom one or more supervisors those are thoroughly knowledgeable about the job being examined.
When there are large number of employees performing on similar or identical work, the group interview is to be used, subsequently this can be an inexpensive and quick way of learning about the job. As a result, the worker’s immediate supervisor would attend the group session; if not you should interview the supervisor separately to get that person’s perspective on the duties and responsibilities of the job.
