a) Rapid hardening cement : This type of cement is an ordinary Portland cement. It is having an additional property of developing its strength quickly. It is used where ever there is a requirement of high strength instantly in initial stages.
b) Quick setting cement : This type of cement takes lesser time for setting as the gypsum content is low in this cement, it settles very rapidly. It is used in the underwater construction.
c) White cement : This cement is named as white cement, due to its white color. It is used for some architectural and flooring purposes.
