State the working principle of an Impulse Turbine.

The working principle of an Impulse Turbine is the steam at high pressure which passes through the nozzle where the velocity of steam increases. This high velocity jet of steam strikes on the blades of impulse turbine. The blades change the direction of steam flow without any change in its pressure.
