Leadership Development: Leadership development increases the capacity of individuals to act upon in leadership roles within the organizations. Leadership roles are those which facilitate execution of the company’s strategy through: winning mindshare, building alignment, and growing the capabilities of others. Leadership roles might be formal, with the corresponding authority to build decisions and take accountability, or they might be informal roles with little official authority (example: a member of a team who persuades team engagement, aim and direction; a lateral peer who should listen and negotiate via influence).
