Pressure modification within the ear
Why is there a sense of pressure modification within the ear whenever someone goes down the mountain?
Expert
The pressure within the middle ear is managed similar to external ear so to exterior too because of the communicating duct between the middle ear and the pharynx known as auditory tube, or Eustachian tube. Whenever someone goes down the mountain the air pressure on the middle ear rises and it becomes essential to do some exercises such as fake swallowing in order to compel the opening of pharyngeal orifice of auditory tube in order to equalize the pressure again.
