Oxygen-bound hemoglobin is termed as oxyhemoglobin. In lungs, the oxygen concentration is greater and therefore there is a higher oxyhemoglobin concentration. In peripheral tissues the condition is reverse, the concentration of oxygen is lower and there is much free hemoglobin.
