Formation of gymnosperm seeds

How the gymnosperm seeds are formed? What are the ploidies of structures which composed of the seeds?

Their seeds are formed through the differentiation of megasporangia inside the female strobiles (cones). After an oosphere gets fecundated, female gametophyte creates the haploid (n) primary endosperm, a nutritive tissue which covers the embryo and the covering of megasporangium turns into the diploid (2n) seed shell.
