Find base overdrive factor for bipolar transistor inverter

The bipolar transistor inverter circuit demonstrated below uses there a supply voltage of VCC = 5V.

Calculate the given:

(a)  The base overdrive factor when RB = 10kΩ, RC = 1.5kΩ and βF = 25.

(b) The value of RB needed to keep a base overdrive factor of σ = 3 while RC = 2.5kΩ and βF = 40.

(c) The minimum value of βF needed to guarantee an overdrive factor of σ = 5 while RC = 500Ω as well as RB = 20kΩ.
