Meaning: Job Evaluation is a technique by which different jobs of an enterprise are evaluated whereas Merit Rating is the process by which the ability, efficiency and potentiality of an employee are evaluated.
Beginning: Job Evaluation is started after the appointment of an employee whereas the process of Merit Rating is started before the appointment of employees.
Relation: Job Evaluation is related with the relative study of different jobs whereas Merit Rating is related with relative study of different employees.
