Explanation:

Here two dominant genes P and C interact to generate purple color. Whenever any one of the genes is existed in recessive situation, color is not generated. Therefore both the genes in the recessive state inhibit the formation of purple color and therefore this has been termed to as Duplicate recessive epistasis.
