Write a brief note on the term ‘Herzberg's theory of motivation’?

Herzberg came out with two factor theory of motivation that believed that there are positive factors that stimulate motivation in workers whereas others de-motivate them. The factors de-motivating the workers are known as the hygiene factors.

Motivators are the factors which give fulfillment are illustrated below:

i) Recognition
ii) Challenges
iii) Responsibility
