Straight lecture technique involves of offering data, which the trainee endeavours to fascinate. In this technique the trainer speaks to a group regarding a particular topic. However, between the trainer and the trainees it does not involve any kind of interaction. Lecture can also take the form of published text, such as books, notes, etc. The difference between the straight lecture and the printed material is the instructor’s modulation, control of speed, physique and pictorial appearance of the instructor. The instructor in situation of straight lecture can adopt to vary from the training script which depends on the indications from the apprentices, although similar material in print is limited to whatever is printed. A good lecture consists of introduction of the subject, determination of the lecture, and importance and preferences of the order in which the topic will be covered.
