Requirements:

- The assignment is to be presented as a business report containing:

- executive summary,

- table of contents ,

- informative headings and sub-headings

- numbered sections,

- numbered appendices, and

- labelled tables and graphs

- The assignment is to be referenced, and a reference list is essential.

- The report should use Times New Roman font, size 11, with 1.5 line spacing

- The report itself is limited to 3,000 words, and any report longer than this will be penalised.

- The executive summary, table of contents, reference list and any appendices are not included in the page count.

- To achieve success in this assignment it is necessary that past financial statements be analysed and appropriately simplified. It is required that these simplified statements be provided in an appendix.

- Appropriate financial ratios must be calculated, over three years. It is required that your calculations be provided in an appendix. Please note that to better analyse the ratios, you will need to select a benchmark to compare with. The benchmark can be another company in the same industry or industry average.

- Whilst it is essential that you use the financial statements provided by the companies, there are many other sources of information available. Examples are ASX, Reuters Finance, Yahoo Finance, financial newspapers such as The Australian Financial Review.
