The Task: Find one scholarly source for each topic, and explain where you looked for the sources, what databases, search engines or other search methods you used and why. Then explain, why is this a good, scholarly source? What does it offer to a person who might be doing research on the topic? Why is it reliable?
For this homework, produce a paragraph of explanation on each of the four topics listed below. Address each of the issues listed above in "The Task."
i. A scholarly article about women's participation in the French Revolution
ii. An online resource site of a legitimate non-profit organization that provides information and participates in political activism to address the problem of modern-day slavery or child labor (you may not use Human Rights Watch, which was required reading this week)
iii. A full text version online of a scholarly article about Simon Bolivar and Nineteenth-Century independence movement in Latin America
iv. A reliable website (or web page) that takes a critical perspective on free market capitalism.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
