Problem: Hello Class,
The transition from adolescence to adulthood comes with many different changes. I will be going through and discussing the different changes that happen to adolescence at the physical, psychological, and social levels. First is the physical changes that happen to adolescence which includes the completion of puberty and a slowing down of any major physical changes (Hutchison & Wood, 2025). There are also final changes that happen to the sex hormones and additional physical changes such as broader should, more fat development on legs and buttock, and strong arms and shoulders (Hutchison & Wood, 2025). These are all normal changes that occur at slightly different times from middle adolescence into adulthood. According to Hutchison & Wood (2025), the psychological changes that happen during this time have a lot more to do with personal development and identity. During this time adolescence further develop their own sense of who they are and their identity, they think for themselves more and are better as creating abstract ideas and thoughts (Hutchison & Wood, 2025). Lastly, there are many social changes that happen during this time period. Hutchison & Wood (2025) highlighted that there is a lot more focus on peer groups, romantic relationships, and further social decision making. This is a time period where independence is strengthened and that includes the autonomy to make decisions about the relationships in their lives. All of these changes are important to understand and can help us support clients who are experiencing any of these changes. Reply to this. Need Assignment Help?
