Ponder the extent to which you agree with the opinion that the ability to transform is essential for leaders to know and practice. How might creativity and innovation inform a leader's ability to navigate conflict and negotiation?
Reflect on your experience with the problem or conflict that you've been working with and how it might be different if the individuals involved could more easily embrace creativity, innovation, or transformation. Consider the organizational leaders' contributions to the problem or conflict, and the extent to which those contributions promote ethical leadership and/or social responsibility for the organization.
Write brief (no more than 500 words) narrative describing recommendations to incorporate any or all three (creativity, innovation, or transformation) practice(s) and how it could help the leaders address the problem/conflict. To what extent would your recommendations help the leaders take ownership of their contributions to the problem/conflict and promote ethical leadership and/or social responsibility? Be sure to explain the extent to which heuristics and or biases might be at play in the problem/conflict. Finally, identify which of The Six Pillars of Character have been compromised as a result of the problem/conflict.
