Write argumentative essay that evaluates a specific subject

Problem

Think of a time you've argued with someone about a movie, TV show, sports team, car, or even a restaurant. You were probably developing an evaluation without even knowing it. For this assignment, write an argumentative essay that evaluates a specific subject (movie, book, car, celebrity, policy, technology, music, concert, etc.). Essentially, your subject for this essay can be anything that can be judged as good, bad, or somewhere in between.

Your evaluation is going to explain why you think your subject is good, bad, or partly good and bad. Make sure your claim/thesis is unique (in other words, not everyone should agree with your claim). Decide what kinds of criteria you're going to use to evaluate your subject (look closely at the aesthetics, the practicality, and the ethics). For example, if you were evaluating a movie your criteria might be cinematography, acting, and storyline. On the other hand, you might evaluate a movie based on how much it made you laugh cry or scream. Remember, you will need to identify, define, and develop each piece of criteria you establish.
