Write about how the two different type of arguments interact

Problem

In Common Sense, Thomas Paine attempts to persuade American colonists that it is time to separate from England and form an independent nation. In the selection of the text that you read, Paine uses two different types of arguments. The first of these are logical, facts-driven arguments which show the advantages -- economic, military, etc. -- to independence. The second type of argument Paine uses appeals more to readers' emotions. He argues that independence is a "natural right" and owed to the colonists.

In 3 to 4 paragraphs, write about how these two different types of arguments interact and build upon one another within Common Sense. Be sure to give at least two examples of each type of argument.
