Memo - Advising the CEO Regarding Onboard Pet Policy
Imagine that you are an employee of a large airline asked to make a recommendation regarding their onboard animal policy. At present, your employer allows guide dogs necessary for the blind to negotiate spaces like airplanes and airports to board its aircraft. It also currently allows "traditional pets" that can remain in a carrier for the duration of the flight to board. An example of one that has been allowed is a Pomeranian in a specially-constructed, mesh dog carrier. This is because the image of the current "Fly With Us" brochure has the picture of a Pomeranian peering out of a special dog carrier.
Your Task: Write a three-page memo recommending a comprehensive pet policy to the Customer Service Advisory Board (CSAB) of your company, of which your airline's CEO is nominally a member, and to whom it will make its own recommendation in three months.
